If you are passionate about nature and adventure, this kayak excursion in the Huaypo lagoon is ideal for you!
We will start the day by picking you up at your hotel between 07:30 and 08:00 AM. From there, we will head in our tourist transport to the base located in the picturesque Huaypo lagoon. This beautiful destination, surrounded by majestic mountains and abundant nature, will be the perfect setting for our exciting kayaking adventure. Upon arrival, you will receive a safety briefing, where we will explain in detail the paddling technique and the proper use of kayaking equipment, making sure you feel comfortable and safe.
Once the introduction is complete, our guide will take you for a brief but effective warm-up and stretching session on the shore of the lagoon. This step is essential to prepare your body for the physical activity that awaits you. With your body prepared and clear instructions given, you will be given your kayak, and it will be time to launch ourselves into the water.
We will begin to glide our boats over the crystal clear waters of the Huaypo lagoon. As you progress, the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and the rich biodiversity of the area will take your breath away. During the tour, you will have the opportunity to observe various species of birds that inhabit the region, take spectacular photographs, and if you are feeling adventurous, you can even take a refreshing dip at one of the nearby beaches.
After approximately two hours of paddling, we will return to shore to return the equipment to the base. Then, we will board our tourist transportation to return to the city of Cusco, with the satisfaction of having had a unique and unforgettable experience.

We start our “Kayak Tour in the Huaypo Lagoon” by picking you up directly from your hotel, preparing for a relaxing excursion and unforgettable experiences.
08:00 – 09:00 | Transfer to Huaypo Lagoon
We will take our transport to Huaypo Lagoon in Chinchero. This journey will take approximately 1 hour, during which we will enjoy the captivating landscape on the way to our destination.
09:00 – 09:20 | Safety briefing and instructional practice
Once we arrive at our base in Huaypo, we will be given our safety equipment and kayaks and there will be a safety briefing, after which we will stretch and warm up on the shores of the lake.
09:20 – 11:20 | Kayaking on Lake Huaypo
Once all our passengers are ready, we will start the kayak adventure in the lagoon, exploring the crystal clear waters and paddling along the lagoon, where you can also enjoy the incredible view and connect with the tranquility of the surroundings offered by this wonderful place.
11:20 – 12:30 | Return to Cusco
After capturing the beautiful moments in photographs and having had a relaxing experience, we board our transport to return to the city of Cusco. Our tour ends arriving in Cusco at approximately 12:30 PM, full of incredible experiences.
