Embark on a magical tour of the Peruvian Andes for 4 days and 3 nights. We will pick you up on arrival at the airport and then start our first tour, an excursion to the Inca ruins of Cusco. The following day we will head into the Pitumarca mountains to visit the Apu Palccoyo, known as the Mountain of 7 Colours.
On the third day (the most important) we will visit the wonders of Machu Picchu, by tourist transport and train. The visit to the llaqta of Machu Picchu will last 2 hours and will be led by our qualified guide. Finally, after having had an extraordinary experience, we will accompany you to the airport for your return flight.
We will pick you up at the airport at the time of arrival to take you to your hotel and give you the welcome briefing. You will have time to rest in the hotel lobby or your room until midday to start our first excursion: City Tour. After picking you up from the hotel, we will start the tour heading to Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun). Then, we will depart for Sacsayhuaman, a majestic Inca archaeological centre. We will continue with Q’enqo, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay, all extremely important historical sites that form part of the 4 ruins of Cusco.
The journey to the Rainbow Mountain in Cusco is an unforgettable adventure. We start by picking you up at your hotel at 4:00 a.m., an ideal time to begin our two-hour drive south, arriving in the district of Cusipata in Quispicanchi, where we will enjoy breakfast.
After a short rest, we will head to the community of Tintico Y Paucarpata, located 10 minutes away. Then, we will travel 25 minutes by vehicle to the community of Chillihuani. From this point, we will set off on a 1 hour and 40 minute walk to the summit of Vinicunca mountain, also known as the Rainbow Mountain, an icon of the Cusco region.
The tour ends at around 4:00 pm with your return to the hotel in the city of Cusco.
We start the tour very early. After picking you up from the hotel, you will be transferred to the town of Ollantaytambo to board the tourist train to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Pueblo). After arriving, our guide will be waiting for you in the main square of the town.
You will board a tourist bus to go to the llaqta of Machu Picchu, where you will have a wonderful tour. Then you will start your return journey, first arriving in Aguas Calientes, then in Ollantaytambo and finally in Cusco.
We recommend that you make the most of this last day to rest, take a stroll or buy some souvenirs. We recommend that you take your return flight in the afternoon/evening. At the scheduled time, we will pick you up and take you to the airport.
