In the morning, we will pick you up from the airport, and then start our Cusco City Tour. We will start with the Convent of Santo Domingo – Qorikancha, where we can discover the contrast between Inca culture and Catholicism. Then our group will take the tourist bus to the outskirts of the city. We will visit Sacsayhuamán, a majestic Inca site, with its imposing and enigmatic stone monoliths that can weigh up to 200 tons. Next is Q’enqo, of particular interest for its semicircular amphitheater and underground galleries. We continue to Puca Pucará, a small Inca construction, a red fortress that is presumed to have been used as a watchtower. The last stop on our tour is Tambomachay, a temple dedicated to the worship of water. It is also known as the Inca’s royal baths, with its impressive water fountains. We will then drive back to Cusco, where the tour will end near the city center.

The following day, our guide will be waiting for you in the square of Machu Picchu with a sign displaying your names. He will give you a warm welcome and go on to give you all the details of the tour, such as the buses to Machu Picchu and the entrance to the citadel.
The time of entry to Machu Picchu will be scheduled in the morning. You will have a 2-hour guided tour, visiting the most important points of the llaqta Machu Picchu. Then, at approximately 18:20 hrs, we will board the train from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo, and then return to Cusco. Immediately afterwards, you will be transferred to the airport, according to the time of your flight.
