The tour starts with a pick-up from your hotel between 3:40 and 4:00 pm, after which we will head south for an average of 3 hours until we reach the Layo district, observing typical high Andean landscapes. Upon arrival in the Layo district, we will have a delicious local breakfast.
After breakfast we will continue our journey along an unpaved road until we reach the starting point of the hike. When we arrive at the point we will receive all the instructions from our guide. It is worth emphasizing that the Pallay Punku mountain, being a new tourist route, does not have good accessibility, which is why our guide will give you the necessary instructions and the correct path to get to the place.
The hike takes an average of 2 hours uphill. When we reach Mount Pallay Punku (4,791 meters above sea level) our guide will give us an explanation of the orography and geography of the place, and you will also have enough time to take photographs.
After the visit, we will return by the same path downhill to our transport, then we will go to the district of Layo where a delicious local lunch will be waiting for us.
Finally, we will return to the city of Cusco, arriving at approximately 18:30hrs.
