ITINERARY

09:00am – We will pick you up from your respective hotel to start our tour.

Our first stop will be the Carmen Alto Viewpoint, which is located in the district of Cayma, from where

you will be able to see the entire Chilina Valley, as well as the local terraces; it is an excellent place to appreciate the

volcanoes: Misti, Chachani and Pichupichu.

Then we will visit the district of Yanahuara with its main attraction, the Portales de Yanahuara,

a construction made of sillar, and we will also see the square and church of the district.

We continue our tour to the historic center to visit the Plaza de Armas of Arequipa where there will be a

detailed explanation of the history of the Cathedral of Arequipa and the portals that surround the Plaza de Armas.

Later we will go to the Church of the Society of Jesus where we will give a brief explanation about

the history of the church and its construction.

Cloisters of the Society of Jesus, located in the historic center, to the left of the Church of the Society, with

sculpted ashlar arches and beautiful corridors.

Casa Tristán del Pozo is a building that for many architecture scholars, the pediment of the façade of this

mansion is the best exponent of the typical ornamentation of Arequipa, in Peru.

The square and church of San Francisco make up one of the most beautiful buildings in the city,

12:00pm – We will end the tour and take you back to your hotel.
