ITINERARY

09:00am – We will pick you up from your respective hotel to start our walking tour.

We will begin the City Tour from the Plaza de Armas of Arequipa where there will be a detailed explanation of the history

of the Cathedral of Arequipa and the portals that surround the Plaza de Armas.

Afterwards, we will go to the Church of the Society of Jesus where we will give a brief explanation about

the history of the church and its construction.

The Cloisters of the Society of Jesus, located in the historic center, to the left of the Church of the Society, with

an archway of sculpted ashlar, beautiful corridors

Casa Tristán del Pozo is a building that for many architecture scholars, the pediment of the façade of this

mansion is the best exponent of the typical ornamentation of Arequipa, in Peru.

Plaza and Church of San Francisco make up one of the most beautiful buildings in the city, being the fourth temple and the

third religious house,

We will visit the Monastery of Santa Catalina, considered a colonial citadel within another city; there you can

appreciate the enclosures that were built according to their religious needs; it has streets and avenues, as well as its

own cemetery.

12:00pm – We will end the tour and take you back to your hotel

How much does it cost to get into the Monastery?

General admission for both nationals and foreigners is S/. 40.00. In the case of Peruvian adults over 60 years of age, they pay an admission ticket of S/. 20.00 and foreigners from 07 to 21 years of age also pay the S/. 20.00 admission ticket. Children under 7 years of age enter the Monastery free of charge. In the case of Peruvian university students, they pay a fee of S/. 12.00 upon presentation of their student card and Peruvian schoolchildren pay a fee of S/. 6.00. It should be noted that the guided tour service inside the Monastery is not included in the fees indicated above.
