Embark on an adrenaline-filled adventure with our ATV tour to Moray and the Salt Flats!
It all starts with pickup from your hotel or agreed meeting point, and then we head to the town of Cruz Pata, where our exciting ATV trip begins. After a 50-minute ride, we will have a safety briefing and a practice session with the ATVs. Given that this is an adventure activity, a liability contract will be signed to guarantee the safety of all participants.
The Moray and Salt Mines ATV Tour starts with two hours of ATV driving to the impressive experimental terraces of Moray. Along the way, we will stop at viewpoints and special places, giving you the opportunity to take memorable photographs of the landscape. Once in Moray, an expert guide will provide a brief explanation of these enigmatic terraces.
After exploring Moray, we will return by quad bike to Cruz Pata and take transportation to the salt mines of Maras. This impressive place is known for its artisanal salt production, with each pool measuring approximately 5 square meters and 30 centimeters deep, fed by underground springs. During the visit, you will enjoy panoramic views of the snow-capped mountains Verónica and Chicón, framed by a spectacular landscape. The visit to the salt mines will last between 15 and 20 minutes, giving you enough time to learn about the salt extraction process and take photos.
Finally, we will return to Cruz Pata and take you back to Cusco, where the tour will end at Plaza Regocijo. Don’t miss this unique experience that combines the thrill of adventure with the natural beauty of the region.
