Itinerary Rainbow Mountain Tour (Vinicunca)

We will pick you up from your accommodation in the center of Cusco between 04:00 and 04:30 AM.
We will travel by car for approximately two hours south, reaching the district of Cusipata – Paucarpata (3,310 meters above sea level). Upon arrival, we will enjoy a buffet breakfast, then travel for one more hour to reach the control point and begin the hike.
The hike will last approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, during which we will observe the typical flora and fauna of the Andes, including llamas and alpacas. We will pass through beautiful ravines and see snow-capped peaks.
Upon reaching the Vinicunca viewpoint, or Rainbow Mountain (5,080 meters above sea level), our guide will provide an explanation of the geography, ecosystem, and the mountain’s colors. You will also have the opportunity to admire the Vinicunca mountain range (5,020 meters / 16,466 feet) and take memorable photos while enjoying the stunning landscape. We will then return along the same route to the starting point of the hike, where our transport will be waiting to take us back to Cusipata, where we will enjoy a buffet lunch.
After lunch, we will begin the journey back to the city of Cusco, where we will arrive approximately between 16:00 and 17:00 hours.
