The day starts early with a pick-up from your hotel in Cusco. From there, we will head to Chinchero, a picturesque village known for its rich tradition of Andean textiles. Here you will be able to see the work of local artisans and learn more about their ancestral techniques. Then, we will continue to the archaeological sites of Moray and the salt mines of Maras. In Moray, you will discover ancient Inca agricultural circles, while in Maras you can admire the salt terraces, which are still mined in the traditional way. At midday, we will enjoy a buffet lunch in Urubamba, a peaceful valley surrounded by impressive mountain scenery. In the afternoon, we will explore the Inca fortress of Ollantaytambo, a key site due to its historical and strategic value. After the visit, we will take the train to Aguas Calientes, where you will spend the night in a comfortable hotel, ready for the big day in Machu Picchu.

The second day begins with a pick-up from your hotel to board the bus that will take us to Machu Picchu. Upon arrival, you will enjoy a guided tour of the Inca citadel, exploring its temples, squares and terraces while learning about the history and legacy of this archaeological wonder. After the visit, you will have free time to continue exploring the site at your own pace and capture unforgettable photos. When we have finished, we will return to Aguas Calientes by bus. In the afternoon, we will take the train back to Ollantaytambo, from where a bus will take you back to Cusco, with an approximate arrival time of 10:00 p.m.
