The tour begins with hotel pick-up and a transfer of approximately 50 minutes to Cruzpata, where there is a 15-minute practice session with the ATVs. The guide checks with each passenger to see if they are ready and comfortable to start, and once approved, the tour to the Huaypo Lagoon begins. This option is offered for those who prefer not to enter Moray. The quad bike ride lasts around 2 hours, after which you return to the base in Cruzpata. Afterwards, you continue by transport to the salt mines (salineras). During the tour, you can see the snow-capped mountains of Verónica and Chicón, surrounded by a beautiful natural landscape. Finally, you return to Cusco.
