Itinerary South Valley Tour

We will pick you up starting at 08:30 AM from your hotel in the center of Cusco. We will travel by tourist transport towards the Southern Valley of Cusco.
During your excursion, the first tourist attraction we will visit is the Archaeological Site of Tipón, also known as the Temple of Water. We will admire the irrigation system and agricultural terraces from the Inca era.
We will continue our tour southward to the Archaeological Site of Pikillaqta, the ancient city of the Waris. It was a pre-Inca urban, administrative, and religious center, the most important of the Wari culture due to its size. You will have views of the wetland of Huacarpay Lagoon, located in the town of Lucre.
Finally, we will visit the district of Andahuaylillas, where the San Pedro Apóstol Church of Andahuaylillas (the Sistine Chapel of America) is located. Built in the 17th century, it houses one of the most beautiful examples of Colonial Art, with golden altars, murals, paintings, and polychrome ceilings.
After the last visit, we will return to Cusco, arriving in the city at approximately 4:00 PM.
