Departure will be between 07:39 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. after picking you up at your respective hotels. Starting the tour, we will head towards the Sacred Valley of the Incas, passing through Urubamba and reaching the town of Ollantaytambo. There we will stop for approximately 20 minutes where you can rest and get to know the village a little, have breakfast or do other activities. From here we will continue the journey along a winding ascent towards the Abra Málaga pass, located at an altitude of 4316 metres above sea level, where we will be able to observe wonderful landscapes of the Peruvian geography. After a brief stop, we will begin the descent towards the Cusco jungle, passing through different altitudinal zones that combine paradisiacal landscapes from majestic snow-capped mountains to the warm edge of the jungle, reaching the height of Santa Teresa. Here a delicious lunch will be waiting for us with a variety of foods to suit our customers’ tastes, in spacious and cosy green areas to enjoy a wonderful view. Continuing the journey to the hydroelectric plant, we will meet our guide in charge, who will show us the way to Aguas Calientes, where we will arrive at 6:30 p.m.

We will check into our assigned hotels. On this itinerary, we will have free time to visit the thermal baths of Aguas Calientes. At 8:00 p.m., we will enjoy a delicious dinner and you will receive a talk by the guide, who will be responsible for giving you the guided tour of the Machu Picchu National Historic Sanctuary. We will spend the night in Aguas Calientes.

Breakfast will be provided the night before in the form of a boxed lunch to take with you. You will have the option of going up to Machu Picchu by bus or on foot. The guided tour will start at 7:00 a.m. and will last an average of 2 hours. Afterwards, you will have free time until approximately 11:30 a.m., which is the recommended time for a complete visit to Machu Picchu. Then, we will descend from the citadel to start the walk back or board the return train to Hidroeléctrica, which leaves Aguas Calientes at 1:15 p.m. There, you will board the designated transport vehicles to continue the journey back to the city of Cusco, departing at approximately 3:00 p.m. During the journey, we will make a 20-minute stop in the town of Alfamayo. Finally, we will continue the return to Cusco by the same route as the beginning of the tour, arriving at approximately 9:30 p.m.
