The first day begins with a drive from Cusco to Cachora, followed by a hike to the Chaquisca camp. Itinerary:
Departure from Cusco to Cachora, passing by the Inca ruins of Tarawasi. After breakfast, we will start the ascent to the viewpoint of Wayna Qalli Grande, where you can see part of Choquequirao and the snow-capped peaks of Vilcabamba. The day concludes at Chaquisca camp.
After breakfast, we will head towards Playa Rosalinia, passing through Santa Rosa. As we proceed, we will find ourselves surrounded by orchids and other natural treasures. The day culminates with a visit to Choquequirao.
We will begin with a last visit to Choquequirao, followed by a descent to Santa Rosa for lunch. Finally, we will head to the Chaquisca camp.
After breakfast, we will start the ascent to the Wayna Qalli viewpoint, enjoying the views of the Apurimac River canyon. The tour concludes with a relaxing time at the Conoc hot springs before returning to Cusco.
