The first day of the Inca Trail 2 Days and 1 Night starts early in the morning. You will be picked up at your hotel and transferred to the train station in Ollantaytambo, where you will board the train at 5:00 a.m. for km 104, the starting point of this exciting hike.
The adventure begins with a journey that will allow you to visit outstanding sites such as Chachabamba, a fascinating archaeological complex, and the Phuyuwachi waterfall, surrounded by native flora and fauna that will connect you with Andean nature. After about 4 hours of walking, you will arrive at Wiñayhuayna, an impressive archaeological site with Inca terraces that bear witness to the greatness of this civilization.
From Wiñayhuayna, you will continue to Intipunku or “The Sun Gate,” from where you will enjoy an unparalleled view of Machu Picchu, an experience that will mark the highlight of the day. Afterwards, you will descend by bus to Aguas Calientes, where you will spend the night in a hotel, preparing for an exciting second day.
This first day combines archaeology, nature and spectacular landscapes, offering a unique experience in the Peruvian Andes.

Después de disfrutar el desayuno en el hotel, abordaremos un bus que nos llevará al Santuario Arqueológico de Machu Picchu, en un trayecto de apenas 25 minutos. Allí comenzará la visita guiada por este icónico destino, el punto culminante del Camino Inca de 2 días y 1 noche.

Durante el recorrido, quedará maravillado con la impresionante arquitectura de Machu Picchu, que incluye sus terrazas agrícolas y un ingenioso sistema hidráulico compuesto por canales y acueductos. Esta majestuosa ciudad inca ofrece una experiencia inolvidable para sus visitantes.

Al finalizar la visita, utilizará su boleto de autobús para descender a Aguas Calientes y, posteriormente, tomará el tren de regreso hacia Cusco, pasando por Ollantaytambo. El trayecto en tren tendrá una duración aproximada de 2 horas. A su llegada a Ollantaytambo, un autobús estará esperando para trasladarlo cómodamente de regreso a Cusco.
