On the first day we will pick you up at the airport and then start our first tour of the city and the 4 ruins of Cusco. On the second day, we will travel to Soraypampa to see the beautiful Humantay Lagoon at the foot of the Salkantay glacier. This tour includes breakfast and lunch.
On the third day we will visit the impressive Vinicunca apu, better known as the Rainbow Mountain, in the district of Pitumarca. The following day, we will visit the majestic wonder of the world, Machu Picchu. This excursion includes tickets, tourist train, transport and a qualified guide who will lead your visit to these archaeological remains. At the end of the itinerary, on the last day, we will pick you up at your hotel and take you to the airport.Discover this impressive lake located at the foot of the Salkantay mountain, with breakfast and lunch included.
We will pick you up at the airport at the time of arrival to take you to your hotel and give you the welcome briefing. You will have time to rest in the hotel lobby or your room until midday to start our first excursion: City Tour. After picking you up from the hotel, we will start the tour heading to Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun). Then, we will depart for Sacsayhuaman, a majestic Inca archaeological centre. We will continue with Q’enqo, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay, all extremely important historical sites that form part of the 4 ruins of Cusco.
The Humantay Lagoon is a hidden jewel of the Andes, located at the foot of the Salkantay mountain. The tour starts in the morning, we will pick you up from the hotel and then take you to the town of Mollepata, where you will enjoy a delicious buffet breakfast. Then, you will walk with a tour guide until you reach this natural formation.
After the tour, we will return to Mollepata for lunch and then leave for the city of Cusco.
The trip to the Rainbow Mountain in Cusco begins with a pick-up from your hotel at 4:00 a.m. for a two-hour drive south to Cusipata in Quispicanchi, where we will have breakfast.
After a break, we continue to the community of Tintico and Paucarpata, the first checkpoint, 10 minutes away. Then, a 25-minute drive takes us to the second checkpoint in Chillihuani. From there, we start a 1 hour and 40 minute hike to Vinicunca, also known as the Mountain of Seven Colours, one of the most impressive peaks in Cusco.
The tour ends around 4:00 p.m. with your return to the hotel in Cusco.
We start the tour very early. After picking you up from the hotel, you will be transferred to the town of Ollantaytambo to board the tourist train to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Pueblo). After arriving, our guide will be waiting for you in the main square of the town.
You will board a tourist bus to go to the llaqta of Machu Picchu, where you will have a wonderful tour. Then you will start your return journey, first arriving in Aguas Calientes, then in Ollantaytambo and finally in Cusco.
We recommend that you make the most of this last day to rest, take a stroll or buy some souvenirs. We recommend that you take your return flight in the afternoon/evening. At the scheduled time, we will pick you up and take you to the airport.
